Unfolding over an afternoon at MPavilion, Public Art Commission will engage artists, designers, and researchers to discuss key themes in public art and the changing face of cultures experienced in the public sphere. The ephemeral structure of MPavilion 2018, itself a temporary public work, will host a flash community of leading practitioners and thinkers to critically engage with you, the public.

The afternoon will consist of two distinct sessions: one examining the curating of temporary art projects and the second on the ways in which the role and agency of audiences has transformed over time due to cultural, political and spatial shifts. A range of leading practitioners and thinkers working in the field will contribute to both sessions.
